Promec S.r.l. has launched a digital transformation project aimed at modernizing and optimizing its production, management, and commercial processes. The project involves the introduction of various applications, such as a cloud-based ERP system integrated with SOLIDWORKS PDM Viewer software, a WMS system for advanced warehouse management, an MES for production control, an advanced CRM, and a quality module based on artificial intelligence.

Thanks to these tools, the company aims to completely and comprehensively digitize its value chain, improving traceability, reducing errors, eliminating paper, and optimizing resources. The project also includes customer experience solutions, such as chatbots and multilingual translation, to facilitate access to foreign markets and strengthen international competitiveness.

This project represents a strategic step towards a more efficient and sustainable organization for Promec S.r.l.

The project is being carried out thanks to European funds from the Emilia-Romagna Region and involves a total investment of €109,533.90, with a requested public contribution of €43,813.56.

Promec Group is expanding its production site and corporate offices, a project that strengthens the company’s ongoing path of steady growth.

The expansion involves an increase of 2,400 square meters in overall space, divided between new production areas and office facilities. These have been designed to optimize internal organization, enhance operational capacity, and respond more efficiently to market demands.

The works, which began in January 2025, are nearing completion and will be finished by the autumn of the same year.

This investment confirms Promec Group’s long-term vision, focused on consolidating its role within the industrial sector through technological innovation, process optimization, and the enhancement of internal resources.

The expansion is not only a concrete response to the company’s growth but also a strong signal of confidence in the future, in the ability to face new challenges, and in the importance of having adequate structures to support the sector’s continuous evolution.

Promec Group presents Can-Jet, the new electropneumatic volumetric filling machine designed to meet the needs of medium- and high-speed production lines. An innovation designed to ensure maximum efficiency, precision and versatility in filling cans for the beverage, energy drink, craft beer and other sectors.

The structure is made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel, with contact components in AISI 316, for maximum hygiene and durability.

Can-Jet is compatible with standard and custom formats, and is perfectly suited for both cold and hot liquids. Every step, from CO₂ rinsing to pressurization to final depressurization, is optimized to ensure dosing accuracy and consistent repeatability.

Can-Jet represents a concrete evolution in the Promec proposal, born from continuous internal research and listening to the market.

Promec announces the new patent n. 102022000018285, an innovative equipment designed for filling and capping bottles of various formats. The system, which solves the critical issues of traditional solutions, uses a worm screw divided into two sections for container handling. Each section is driven by independent brushless motors, allowing automatic adaptation of the machine to the various formats via the operator panel (HMI), without the need for manual adjustments or replacements of mechanical components.

This advanced technology not only reduces the costs and downtime typically associated with format changes in traditional systems, but it also eliminates contact between the bottles, thereby reducing the risk of deformations and liquid spillage. It ensures high filling precision even at critical fill-points. The innovative design seamlessly integrates with Promec’s FILL-LINE range, enhancing production efficiency and reducing management costs.

The new invention has been nominated as a finalist in the DJAZ’INNOV 2025 contest, connected to the Djazagro fair, where Promec will be present from April 7th to 10th in Hall CT, stand C-118. This nomination confirms Promec’s commitment to research, development, and technological innovation in the packaging sector. Promec presents a brand new monobloc for washing, filling and capping PET and PC bottles from 3 to 6 gallons and from 5 to 10 liters, with an innovative weight filling system, instead of traditional volumetric filling system.

Weight filling by means of load cells guarantees extreme precision (product saving), high repeatability and reliability.

An innovative internal handling system for the 5-gallon bottles, complete with plastic chain, guarantees greater hygiene in the washing and sterilizing processes as well as savings in energy compared to traditional machines.

This machine is designed to allow the regulation of treatment times from the operator panel through electrically operated solenoid valves on each nozzle, in order to eliminate the limitations typical of normal mechanical rinsers.

In conventional rinsers, in fact, the valves are mechanically operated through cams that are subject to wear, and the only way to vary the injection time of the rinsing fluid is by manually changing the position of these cams. The electronic rinsers can run single, double or even triple treatment cycles; the treatment times are established on the basis of the dimensions of the containers, the sterilizing product used, and the degree of cleanliness and/or decontamination required.

MULTIFORMAT FILL LINE LINEAR MONOBLOC FOR PRODUCTION UP TO 2.500 BPH OF 5 LT

It is a linear machine for filling PET or HDPE one-way containers of large dimensions, from 5 up to 20 Lt; the modular structure allows to make up different kind of machines in a simple and cheap way, divided as follows:

1. Rinser- Filler - Single capper (screw or pressure closure)
2. Rinser- Filler- Double capper (screw or pressure closure)
3. Filler- Single capper (screw or pressure closure)
4. Filler- Double capper (screw or pressure closure)

The 3 and 4 version are used in case of bottles’ line blowing.

Each version is suitable for treating PET and HDPE bottles of different shapes and dimensions for a changeable production ranging from 300 up to 2.500 BPH, even in ULTRACLEAN version.

RINSING SECTION

The rinser is equipped with proper grippers, handling the neck of the bottle and placing the bottle over the spraying nozzles, available in single or double treatment too.

In the version with a single treatment, the bottle is rinsed using sterile water or other sterilizing solutions such as ozone or chlorine; in the double treatment version, the first nozzle sterilizes the bottle using proper sterilizing solutions (peracetic acid, H2O2, chlorine dioxide…) while the second one eliminates any residual of these substances through sterile water injection. The same machine can be used for the blowing version to clean the bottles with sterile air or ionized air, through appropriate nozzles designed by us.

FILLING SECTION

The bottles’ filling is carried out by electromagnetic flow meters ensuring high filling precision and maximum hygiene of the system, due to the fact that there is no contact between the spraying nozzle and the bottle neck.

The filling stage is regulated by a proper pump, driven by the PLC of the machine to perform the filling stages, in order to avoid any product leak and to optimize the filling time for any bottle format.

In the operator panel (touch screen) the different filling programs related to the different bottles’ formats are set.

Any format-changing related procedure is automatically run, setting the bottles’ format on the panel operator. The hydraulic circuit is made by AISI 316 stainless steel stiff piping, in compliance with the EHEDG regulations. Upon request, the bottle can be supplied with dummy bottles (automatic or hand run) to sterilize (C.I.P) the piping of the filling valve.

CAPPING SECTION

The capping stage is carried out in line as the previous ones.

The capping can be carried out using pressure or screw closure; in both cases, a vibrating hopper is installed to direct the caps, as well as a letting down lane with pick-up head (in particular cases, the Pick and Place system can be installed).

In the pressure closure version, the machine is equipped with a closure tilted conveyor belt allowing a gradual closure of the caps, while the screw version, has a proper screwing pick-up head installed with a screwing couple adjustment device.

In both cases, as optional, a caps’ sterilizing stage can be fit into the line (using ozone, H2O2 or other sterilizing solutions).
