Promec fillers are manufactured according to the highest qualitative standards, the most modern hygienic design criteria (EHEDG standards) and the best technologies and materials currently on the market, in compliance with the international regulations on safety (EC standards) and food grade (FDA regulations). They are modular and versatile machines that are used to fill large containers, made of both plastic and glass, for hourly outputs of up to 10,000 bph.

FILL-JET BC machines are available in the following versions:

• individual fillers;
• monoblock including filler and capper;
• triblock including rinser, filler and capper.

To minimise the overall dimensions, each machine model is supplied with different configurations and a machine pitch in line with the processed containers.

Rinser and filler for 5-6 lt PET

The FILL-JET-BC machines are ideal for the filling of the following products: natural water, clear cold-pressed fruit juice without pulp; sports drinks; tea with preservatives; fresh milk; oil, vinegar.

FILL JET BC
VOLUMETRIC VERSION

Tribloc rinser-filler-capper ideal for filling still water into large plastic or glass containers (up to 12 litres), for outputs of up to 10,000 BPH. The filling system is volumetric, by means of magnetic or mass flow meters, which guarantee filling precision and repeatability; each flow meter is coupled with a two-position pneumatic diaphragm valve, which guarantees gradual closure of the product flow and extreme reliability.

AUTOMATIC CHANGE-OVER (PATENTED SYSTEM)
The machine can change over from 3- to 6-gallon bottles without operator intervention and without any mechanical components having to be changed. The machine makes the change-over automatically when the desired size is selected on the control panel display.

PENETRATING NOZZLES
The most important aspect of a recycled container line is the efficient cleaning of the containers themselves. Thirty years of experience in the field have taught us that, when the diameter of the container’s body is much larger than the neck, the use of penetrating nozzles is indispensable. It is not possible to wash the entire internal surface of the container, and in particular the neck, correctly with fixed or rotating nozzles. The solution we have adopted involves a rotating multiple-jet nozzle with high-pressure jets aimed in all directions, that sprays the entire inside wall of the body and neck of the container with water.

RECIPROCATING FORWARD MOVEMENT
The bottles feed through the machine with a reciprocating motion; this ensures that the nozzles are always in line with the bottles in each section of the machine in order to guarantee high washing efficiency.

TRANSFER SYSTEM USING CENTRING BUSHES:
In our machines, the containers are inserted into special centring bushings installed at a pitch on the handling beams. This allows "extremely safe" handling of the container even if it still contains residual water, a situation which is not tolerated by machines with "gripper" handling. With our system, maintenance costs are considerably lower since there are no mechanical parts subject to wear.

FILLING SYSTEM
PROMEC has designed and constructed a filling system using electromagnetic flow meters coupled with special filling valves, which guarantee a turbulence-free laminar flow, and hence faster filling times (about 8 sec. for 5 gallons) even with very low-conductivity water (up to 10 microsiemens).

EXTERNAL BRUSHING AND WASHING SYSTEM
The external brushing of the containers is carried out by means of specially-shaped nylon brushes that envelop the entire external surface of the containers, including the bottom.

The effectiveness of the brushing system is guaranteed by the fact that the brushes are shaped "exactly" like the container, including the one on the bottom, as well as by the rotating movement of the bottle with respect to the brushes themselves; furthermore, the brushes work throughout one or more washing phases, during which the bottle-holding beams are not in movement, since the motion of the machine is reciprocating, so the time during which the brushes are in action is decidedly longer than in machines with continuous motion. In the brushing area, as well as in other sections of the machine, manifolds are provided for pressure washing of the external surface of the bottles.

PALLETIZER BPAL-56
Fully automatic palletizer for placing 3- to 5-gallon PC containers in a horizontal position inside special holders, called “racks”. These holders may be made of either metal or plastic. Provision can be made for three different methods of palletization.

MULTIFORMAT FILL LINE LINEAR MONOBLOCKS FOR PRODUCTIONS UP TO 2.500 BPH OF 5 LT
It is a linear machine for filling PET or HDPE one way containers of large dimensions, from 5 up to 20 Lt; the modular structure allows to make up different kind of machines in a simple and cheap way, divided as follows:

1. Rinser- Filler - Single capper (screw or pressure closure)
2. Rinser- Filler- Double capper (screw or pressure closure)
3. Filler- Single capper (screw or pressure closure)
4. Filler- Double capper (screw or pressure closure)

Version n.3 and n.4  are used in case of bottles’ line blowing.

Each version is suitable for treating PET and HDPE bottles of different shapes and dimensions for a changeable production ranging from 300 up to 2.500 BPH, even in ULTRACLEAN version.

RINSING SECTION
The rinser is equipped with proper grippers, handling the neck of the bottle and placing the bottle over the spraying nozzles, available in single or double treatment too.

In the version with a single treatment, the bottle is rinsed using sterile water or other sterilizing solutions such as ozone or chlorine; in the double treatment version, the first nozzle sterilizes the bottle using proper sterilizing solutions (peracetic acid, H2O2, chlorine dioxide…) while the second one eliminates any residual of these substances through sterile water injection. The same machine can be used for the blowing version to clean the bottles with sterile air or ionized air, through appropriate nozzles designed by us.

FILLING SECTION
The bottles’ filling is carried out by electromagnetic flow meters ensuring high filling precision and maximum hygiene of the system, due to the fact that there is no contact between the spraying nozzle and the bottle neck. The filling stage is regulated by a proper pump, driven by the PLC of the machine to perform the filling stages, in order to avoid any product leak and to optimize the filling time for any bottle format.

In the operator panel (touch screen ) the different filling programmes related to the different bottles’ formats are set.

Any format-changing related procedure is automatically run, setting the bottles’ format on the panel operator. The hydraulic circuit is made by AISI 316 stainless steel stiff piping, in compliance with the EHEDG regulations. Upon request, the bottle can be supplied with dummy bottles (automatic or hand run) to sterilize (C.I.P) the piping of the filling valve.

CAPPING SECTION

The capping stage is carried out in line as the previous ones. The capping can be carried out using pressure or screw closure; in both cases, a vibrating hopper is installed to direct the caps, as well as a letting down lane with pick-up head (in particular cases, the Pick and Place system can be installed).

In the pressure closure version, the machine is equipped with a closure tilted conveyor belt allowing a gradual closure of the caps, while the screw version, has a proper screwing pick-up head installed with a screwing couple adjustment device. In both cases, as optional, a caps’ sterilizing stage can be fit into the line (using ozone, H2O2 or other sterilizing solutions).

FILL LINE 3-1-1 LINEAR MONOBLOC

It is made up of a first filling section with three filling valves equipped with magnetic flow meters, the pressure closure capping section and the screw closure capping section. The format change is quick and designed to adjust the machine to different bottles’ formats (from 5 up to 20 Lt) with production up to 900 BPH of 5 Lt and 500 BPH of 5 gallons.

FILL LINE 4-1 MONOBLOC
It is made up of a filling section with four filling valves equipped with magnetic flow meters and a capping section for special caps equipped with a special device for water distribution. The cap has to be directed and moved by a special system (Pick and Place) studied and designed by Promec.
The line production is 450 BPH for 20 Lt bottles.

FILL LINE 6-1 MONOBLOC
It is made up of a filling section with six filling valves equipped with magnetic flow meters and a capping section for special caps equipped with a special device for water distribution. The cap has to be directed and moved by a special system (Pick and Place) studied and designed by Promec.
The line production is up to 650 BPH for 10 lt. bottles
